Have you heard the news? Miss Selfridge is finally available in the Netherlands! Also, Monki, Weekday and H&M are about to open new shops in Rotterdam and they’re giving away discounts and gift cards! 

Miss Selfridge finally available in the Netherlands

Remember Miss Selfridge? The shop with the most fabulous clothes, the wet dream of every Fashionista born in the 70’s or early 80’s. A few years ago, in the 90’s, there were several Miss Selfridge shops in the Netherlands. Unfortunately, they suddenly disappeared from Dutch soil. Until now it was only possible to go shopping at Miss Selfridge after booking a flight to England. But as of today Miss Selfridge is available again in the Netherlands viawww.nelly.com. Ain’t that good news!

Opening biggest H&M, Weekday & Monki Concept store 

On 17 October 2014 H&M will open its biggest store in Europe in Rotterdam. Also, Weekday and Monki will open their new stores at the Passage (above the Koopgoot) in Rotterdam on the same date. A three double celebration with loads of giveaways! So it’s a good thing to be near the Koopgoot or Rotterdam Central Station at 17 October. You never know who you run into and what gift you might receive.

Monki Concept store

Rotterdam has a scoop when it comes to opening the very first 3.0 concept store in Netherlands: ‘Sea of Scallops’. An underwater world where you pass water plants and a sunken Carousel at the bottom of the Sea during a shopping spree. The great news is that all customers get 10% discount on opening day. The first 100 customers who arrive before 10 am on October 17  2014, get a free giftcard worth €10.

The biggest H&M store of Europe

They’re still busy expanding and rerefurbishing the existing H&M store at the Koopgoot in Rotterdam. From 17 October 2014 this will be the biggest H&M store in Europe. This means you can see every H&M collection on 4500 m2 and 3 floors! Think of the largest shoe and sports department in the Netherlands (say what!), H&M home, Trend collection and a new baby concept. Exiting news isn’t it?

Free shopping & gift cards

Scandinanvian hip: 2nd Weekday store

After Amsterdam, Rotterdam finally gets its own Weekday store. It’s about time! Weekday opened its first basement store in a suburb of Stockholm 10 years ago. Back then it was called Weekend, since it was only open during the weekends. The shop was  seen as a pioneer in selling skinny jeans. Because of its popularity, the shop grew out to its current size.

Fashion gifts

Weekday is known for its jeans oriented clothing; Scandinavian hip in a remarkable surrounding: a cityscape with skyscrapers of denim and metal ’train tracks’ attached to the ceiling.
